Under
Reports >
DNS Changes I see a built-in report called
DNS Nodes Added. This contains useful data. Looking around I can't find how to create an email alert from this report (or for any report
not under "Profile Based Reports).
So, under
Configuration >
DNS Audit I created a new Report Profile using the
DNS Nodes Created action. However, that report has no data.
1. Why can we not create an email alert from any built-in report?
2. What is the difference between the standard report categories (User Management, Group Management, DNS changes, etc) and the reports under "Profile Based Reports"? In the standard category reports I still have to select what domain I want the report from anyways. It all seems redundant and unnecessarily confusing.
3. And in the end - How can I get an email alert when a DNS Node is created? I'd use 'DNS Nodes Created' but I'm not understanding why the 'DNS Nodes Added' report under the standard category has the info I want and 'DNS Nodes Created' under Profile Based Reports is blank.
