How to create a Widget to display Total Number of Sessions?

I am monitoring the 'Total Number of Sessions' on my Terminal Servers, but I would like the data to be shown in a widget, on a custom Terminal Server dashboard that I created.
How do I go about creating a widget to show the 'Total Number of Sessions'?
