Hi All
Setup:
- PMP is in Datacenter behind a Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Clients are in Office or at Home and uses the Internet to access PMP
User is created and configured in PMP and RemoteDesktopManager like here:
Problem:
We try to connect to PMP with the API. After a long check on WAF, RDM and PMP we found out that the connection will not work, because the Host "Client01" from the office is unknown in the Datacenter enviroment. And also its always the same Source-IP Address on the PMP Server (the internal IP of the WAF).
If we try with an Revers-DNS Entry from the internal IP of the WAF and the Hostname of Client01, it works. But then, only one Client is able to connect.
If we would enable the NAT, then from every Public IP one Client could connect, if we allways add the DNS Pointer - but not the whole Office and its not managable when a IP is changing. Also multiple Pointers are not possible because of Round Robin.
Question:
How can we connect over API (specialy from the Remote Desktop Anyewhere) over the Internet / WebApplicationFirewall to the PMP Server?
Thanks and regards,
Olivier
