How-To: Change Date format used by reports
I want to export a report with a date or datetime column to XLS or CSV for further processing using Excel.
But since we use German version of Excel, I can't use the date format exported by desktop central, for example "Mon, Jan 20 2014, 12:00:00".
Instead I need the date value in the format "20.01.2014" or "20.01.2014 12:00:00"
So, my question is how to change the date format used by Desktop Central especially regarding reports.
(In Servicedesk the overall date format can be easily change under "Personalize").
By the way, in the "Software Installed Date" the time part is useless because it is always "12:00:00"
