How to avoid the default page after login

Hi,

for my convenience, I configured some e-mail notification profiles with the HTTP-link pointing to the device that generated the error.
E.g. device = switch --> link = http://opmanager-server/devices/objectdetails.do?requestid=SNAPSHOT&name=$displayName&mapName=Switches.netmap
This allows me to open the right device window from my email-client within one mouse-click.

If I'm already logged-in into OpManager, the new window points to the requested device/link.
If not, I have to login first, but then OpManager autmatically points to the default window (http://opmanager-server/overview.do?selectedTab=Home) instead of the requested link.
How can I force OpManager to display the right link ?
Alternatively, is it possible to give the UID/PWD as parameter in the http-link or even to avoid the UID/PWD by e.g. a cookie ?
