How secure is AppManager's database?

I would like to know how secure AppManager database is. As I understand that I have to key in admin id/password to do WMI-based monitoring.
Also aware that admin id/password are encrypted before saved in the database. The question is how strong is the encryption and what method AppManager is using to keep it safe. Manual is very brief in this area and not mentioning any details.
Please kindly answer the question as security nowaday is the big concern and it may cost our job if things go wrong.
