How does one load/remove devices programmatically?

My company uses an asset tracking tool which we have direct SQL access to and would like to use it as a source to feed into Password Manager Pro.

I know Password Manager Pro uses MySQL (Yah!) as a backend so in theory I can manage the devices in Password Manager Pro via a script. There is now reference (that I see) in the manual on how to added or removed resources programmatically in the manual. Can someone please give advice on how to add/remove devices to Password Manager Pro programmatically. This is essential in most enterprises to keep the password management tool updated with the current resources.
