For servers, specifically Windows servers, that you are monitoring for both Windows WMI items and hardware SNMP readings what kind of device template do you use?

I want to monitor a Dell PowerEdge server running Windows 2003.  I started to setup a Dell server template with Dell SNMP monitors, temperature readings, raid status, voltage reading, etc, but when I apply it to the server I lose all of the Windows readings, disk space, memory usage, etc., and the server does not have the Windows icon on it.  All of my servers are Dell, so I could add the harware monitors to the Windows 2003, and Windows 200, templates, but that just does not seem like the "right" way to do it. 

Just curious what other people are doing.
