Currently, to my surprise, Tasks for a Change do not get logged into the History tab. 

Is there an easy query to view the history of tasks? 

I am interested to view whether the time/activity logged within the task is reflective of the actual time that the activity in the task was recorded.

Future feature:  Add task history to the History tab.
