HotFix to migrate to 5008.

Hi All,

HotFix to migrate to Build Version 5008 has been released. You can download the same from http://www.supportcenterplus.com/service-packs.html

The hot fix is available @ http://manageengine.adventnet.com/products/support-center/64045241/AdventNet_ManageEngine_SupportCenter_Plus_5_0_0_SP-0_3_0.ppm

All Users, still staying on builds 5000-5007 can apply this hotfix to migrate to the latest version.

Instructions to apply the hotfix:

1. Shut down SupportCenter Plus Server.
2. Take a backup of the existing database using [SupportCenter-Home]\bin\backupdata.bat ( backupdata.sh for Linux ) script
3. Run the script UpdateManager.bat (UpdateManager.sh for Linux) in the <SupportCenter_Plus_Home>/bin folder. This opens the Update Manager tool.
4. Click "Browse" to select the HotFix file (AdventNet_ManageEngine_SupportCenter_Plus_<Version No>_0_0_SP-x_0.ppm file that you had downloaded) and then click "Install...".
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to apply the Service Pack.
6. Once the upgrade is complete, start SupportCenter Plus Server.


Issues addressed in the hotfix:

    # When importing Accounts and Contacts using a CSV file, only the first contact was getting associated to the Account. This issue is fixed.
    # Issue of improper replacement of Contact Name in notifications fixed.
    # Issue when changing port number during installation is fixed.
    # Contacts can be provided the option to view only their own requests or all the requests of the account.
    # Time spent report added based on Account & Contact.
    # Exception of "Insufficient Privilege" in the requests tab when the contact logs in - is fixed.
    # The issue of Windows Service name clash that was preventing ServiceDesk and # SupportCenter from being installed on the same machine is fixed.
    # Ability to add Attachments to accounts is now available
    # Ability to configure user defined fields in Notification Emails
