Hotfix 7021 released

Dear Users,

Hotfix (version 7021) has been released. This hotfix can be applied over build 7000 through 7020 build. The hotfix is available at the below link.

Following are the list of Enhancements / Issues that got fixed in this 7021 hotfix.

Enhancements in 7021:

1. SD-11880 - Multiple Domain Support for Login User.
2. SD-12008 - Configuration provided to Enable/Disable local authentication for Login User.
3. SD-10429 - Support for Turkish Language.

Issues fixed in 7021 :

1. SD-11947 - Home / Request page goes blank when the below notifications are enabled.
a) Alert group members by Email, when a new request is added to the group.
b) Alert group members by Email, when a request is left unpicked in a group.
Now both Notifications are made synchronous.
2. SD-11596 - Contract Expiry Notification is sent as blank mail.
3. SD-10614 - Request Type is included in Custom Report.
4. SD-11991 - While creating a new PO, unable to add Product name, Product Type, Vendor name with special characters like ( ' - single quotes ) in it.
5. SD-10435 - Unable to create Custom report in French Language.
6. SD-10310 - Unable to create Custom report using Advanced Matrix Report, when price is selected in Summarize column field.
7. SD-12280 - Asset Additional Fields are not shown in Resources Custom Report.
8. SD-12252 - Unable to migrate from 7015 to 7020, if Purchase Order History Comments contains single quote.
9. SD-11848 - No space between Welcome and Requester Name in the user survey email description.


Instructions to apply the hotfix :

1. Shut down ServiceDesk Plus Server. Take a backup using backupData.bat under <ServiceDesk_Plus_Home>/bin folder.
2. Run the script UpdateManager.bat (UpdateManager.sh for Linux) in the <ServiceDesk_Plus_Home>/bin folder. This opens the Update Manager tool.
3. Click "Browse" to select the Service Pack file (AdventNet_ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_<Version No>_0_0_SP-x_0.ppm file that you had downloaded) and then click "Install...".
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to apply the Service Pack / Hotfix.
5. Once the upgrade is complete, start ServiceDesk Plus Server.

Please note that the changes done to wrapper.conf under <ServiceDesk_home>/server/default/conf/wrapper.conf needs to be configured again.
Generally memory parameter

wrapper.java.maxmemory=512

and locale parameter

wrapper.java.additional.16=-Duser.language=en
wrapper.java.additional.17=-Duser.country=US

might have added in wrapper.conf .

NOTE : Those who have modified the login screen through index.html has to configure again the web.xml after applying the patch as web.xml will be replaced during the application of patch.

Browser cache for accessing the servicedesk application has to be cleared before login and after application of the patch.
