Hotfix 7019 Released

Dear Users,

Hotfix (version 7019) has been released. We regret for the delay in this hotfix. This hotfix can be applied over build 7000 through 7018 build. The hotfix is available at the below link.

Enhancement:
1. Product Type and Product Name can be filtered while creating a New Purchase order.

Issues fixed in this Hotfix :

1. SD-9621 - Clicking the Home / Request tab, page becomes blank in mssql. ( same as auto close issue ).

2. SD-9208 - Split messages automatically shows as overdue even though there is no due date set. Whenever we use the Split As New Request feature to separate part of a conversation, the split part shows with an overdue flag.

3. SD-9072 - Mandatory Field for request closing do not work with field "Item".

4. SD-9121 - Request Template with a Group Field populated, technicians are not filtered out based on the selected group.

5. SD-9667 - When using single language license file (multi-language false) , in Self Service Portal, there is no option to change the currency Type.

6. SD-9625 - Email attachment with "," in the name sent to sdp through email got truncated till "," and upon clicking the attachment it throws File Not Found.

7. SD-9654 - Asset Additional Fields are not shown in Workstation Custom Reports.

8. SD-8962 - Email id which starts with underscore "_" for a requester , cannot be replied.

9. SD-9217 - In mssql, sort by Description / Comments in Task List View goes blank.

10. SD-9666 - Change password link is shown in the SSO / pass through authentication login.

11. SD-9665 - Notify Request owner when an associated task is closed do not send notification if the task is not assigned with a task owner.

12. SD-9207 - Error closing multiple unassigned task from task list view page.

13. SD-9671 - When a associated asset for a problem / change is removed, upon clicking the problem / change details, only description is shown

14. SD-8506 - Preventive Maintenance Task configured for monthly schedule calls for all the month irrespective of the configured month.

15. SD-10413 - During scheduled AD import, any Interrupted Exception occurs it quits and no users will be added. Now it is corrected and the users fetched before exception are added.

16. SD-10413 - NullPointer Exception upon updating existing user based on email id ( as the user do not have login ) during AD import.

17. SD-9797 - Purchase Order approval comment in non-english characters ( esp in Japanese ) got garbled after applying the 7018 ppm in �Purchase Order History�.

18. SD-9637 - Support for Korean Language.

19. SD-10380 - Sender name and �Email for notification� e-mail not set to sender name and email configured for that group.

20. SD-9212 - Unable to type @ symbol in Swedish keyboard, upon typing it makes the request description content to be bold.

21. SD-10376 - Unable to import image/csv from the directory, which contains �.� character.

22. SD-10061 - Inline edit operation of an asset field in request details page fetches all the assets instead of associated assets of a requester.

23. SD-10427 - Upon adding a new request / problem / change with description contains continuous white spaces will be replaced with Junk character

24. SD-9698 - Security issue: login as a requester and upon editing My Details and removed the mode=edit in the url can able to view all the requester information.

25. SD-9672 - In custom filter, when criteria is set as �Due by Time� less than ( < ) the specified date , it list out the requests with no due by time.

26. SD-9585 - String data type as column and contains/not-contains as criteria, it lists requests with exact word match. Say, for a report with Request Title / Description as a column and criteria as �contains / not-contains�, then it fetches based on exact match even though the criteria is �contains�.

27. SD-10270 - Custom Filter and advanced filtering of reports for description is based on trimmed description and not based on full description.

28. SD-10268 - Spam filter for description is based on trimmed description and not based on full description.

29. SD-9538 - Business rule for description is based on trimmed description and not based on full description.

30. SD-9697 - �Purchaser Order Approver� gets reset upon each AD import.

31. SD-9710 - Issue in associating assets to a contract in Russian language.

32. SD-9701 - Latest Properties file and help cards for ( Priority matrix , Cost center , GL Code , PO additional Fields ) include for Chinese Language.

33. SD-10201 - Latest Properties file and help cards for ( Priority matrix , Cost center , GL Code , PO additional Fields ) included for Japanese Language.

34. SD-10381 - While viewing change/problem in non English language blank fields shows as �Not Assigned�/�Not Analyzed� in English.

35. SD-9769 - If request description contains single backslash, it is replaced by double backslash while taking backup and restore the data in MSSQL database.

36. SD-9771 - If multiline additional fields contains default value in multiline data, it is changed to single line after taking backup and restore the data in MSSQL database.

37. SD-9772 - If single-line / multi-line additional fields contains no default value, it is changed to NULL after taking backup and restore the data in MSSQL database.

38. SD-9635 - Spell error corrected in command prompt while reinitializing database.

Instructions to apply the hotfix :

1. Shut down ServiceDesk Plus Server. Take a backup using backupData.bat under <ServiceDesk_Plus_Home>/bin folder.
2. Run the script UpdateManager.bat (UpdateManager.sh for Linux) in the <ServiceDesk_Plus_Home>/bin folder. This opens the Update Manager tool.
3. Click "Browse" to select the Service Pack file (AdventNet_ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_<Version No>_0_0_SP-x_0.ppm file that you had downloaded) and then click "Install...".
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to apply the Service Pack / Hotfix.
5. Once the upgrade is complete, start ServiceDesk Plus Server.

Please note that the changes done to wrapper.conf under <ServiceDesk_home>/server/default/conf/wrapper.conf needs to be configured again. Generally memory parameter
wrapper.java.maxmemory=512

and locale parameter

wrapper.java.additional.16=-Duser.language=en
wrapper.java.additional.17=-Duser.country=US

might have added in wrapper.conf .
