HotFix 7016 Released

Dear Users,

Hotfix (version 7016) has been released. This hotfix is applicable for 7000 to 7015 builds only and is available at the below link.

Enhancement:

1. Integration of enhanced Purchase Order Module.

a. New Features:

a) Two tax rates (Sales Tax, Additional Tax) for a single Purchase Order.

b) History of Purchase Order changes.

c) Additional fields in Purchase Order.

d) Attachments to Purchase Order.

e) �Bill To� and �Ship To� Address provided in drop down format based on sites.

f) Viewing Purchase Orders in the list view based on status.

g) Adding new product type on the fly.

h) Cost Center and General Ledger Code added.

i) Purchase Order Owner�s name in Sender�s name when sending PO Notification.

j) Distorted image in view Purchase Order page has been corrected.

b. Known Issues / Limitations:

a) Purchase Order approval mail sent earlier will no longer hold good after migration and the same has to be re-sent for approval.

b) Default Billing and Shipping address specified in �Purchase Default Values� will not hold good after migration. To take effect, create new Site from Admin->Sites and specify the address. Choose this site in the �Purchase Default Value� for Billing Address and Shipping Address and save the settings.

2. Support for sending notification to group of people upon request closure.

3. Earlier when Active directory auth is enabled, a valid requester who is not yet imported in SDP, tries to log into application using his AD credentials will create a new user in the application. So you cannot restrict a valid user in AD from logging into ServiceDeskPlus. Now a configuration is added (Admin -> Self Service Portal Settings), where this dynamic user addition can be restricted. By default login option is enabled.

4. Earlier when a non-existing user emails ServiceDeskPlus, a new requester will be added with login and password as email itself. By this spam emails will also create users with login. Now a configurable option is provided (Admin -> Self Service Portal Settings) to enable whether login need to be provided for non-existing users (sending emails). By this still requester will be created, but when the settings is disabled, login will not be provided for the requester.

5. In Request details page, the forwarded emails will be shown in the conversation section by default. Previously the forwarded emails can be viewed only by clicking the "View All conversation" link.

6. In Backup Schedule, upon specifying the backup location and save, there will be a check for the existence of the backup directory specified and the write permission before saving the backup schedule.

Issues fixed in this Service Pack:

1. SD-8696 - Issue in few customer environments, where same mails are fetched twice.

2. SD-8386 - Issue in editing the requester for a request and changing the associated assets for the requester.

3. SD-8651 � Requester details are not fetched automatically on change from requester name field when there is no asset associated with the requester during request create/edit.

4. SD-8682 - Security vulnerability issue upon editing the domain details of a windows domain scan.

5. SD-8256 - Issue in showing the public / private domain name list in the Windows Domain Scan.

6. SD-8654 - Issue with Single Sign-on process during manual addition of domain and importing user from the same.

7. SD-8288 - Request un-hold operation does not take into account the "override operational hours" option set when defining SLA.

8. SD-8307 - �$TicketOwner� option in SLA escalation is not saved.

9. SD-8486 - In Problem and Change Notification, if "$TicketOwner" is chosen as technician, an error message saying "Please choose technician(s) to notify during new problem / change creation� is thrown.

10. SD-8488 - Task notification E-mails being sent as Plain text and not as HTML text.

11. SD-8487 - Announcement notification E-mails being sent as Plain text and not as HTML text.

12. SD-8276 - In Audit Settings, number of days specified for "Check for newly added workstation" is not saved.

13. SD-8534 - Notification to technician sent twice when a request is assigned to the same technician at different time period.

14. SD-8153 - In Custom Reports (Asset/Workstation), Serial Number has been added.

15. SD-1520 - After migration from Version 6 to 7, the Warranty Expiry field is not shown in the UI, though the information was available in the database.

16. SD-6844 - After migration from Version 6 to 7, asset additional fields are not shown in the UI, though the information is available in the database. For workstation, along with workstation additional fields asset additional fields will also be shown to the user.

17. SD-8198 - Display date upon clicking on the Week Calendar when the current week contains date involving 2 months is wrong.

18. SD-7939 - Subcategory / Item getting deleted when editing another subcategory / Item.

19. SD-6052 - Issue in editing the holidays, date column did not have a date chooser.

20. SD-8566 - Site and Region details of a particular user will be shown upon clicking the user name in a pop up window.

21. SD-8655 - Error when adding new Contract in Norway language.

22. SD-8574 - Announcement listed in the Support Tab.

23. SD-8573 - If a single asset is associated with a requester, the asset will be selected by default upon typing/selecting the requester during request creation.

24. SD-8653 - Issue when adding in-line images in IE in case of non-English language.

25. SD-8598 - In custom reports, label "Request Summary Reports" changed to �Summary Reports�.

26. SD-8700 - Email id containing single quotes stopped mail fetching.

27. SD-8262 - Mouse over the list view page of Problem/Change causes the page to flicker.

28. SD-8699 - Default Software report not working in MSSQL database.

29. SD-8826 - Junk issue in viewing the product in Norwegian language.

30. SD-8254 - Performance Fix - Asynchronous Notification to reduce request creation time.


We regret for not bringing in the support for "POP3s and IMAPS" as stated in the list of issues / enhancements posted for 7016.
