1. Is there a way to change the request to automatically open the default request template and not the request catalog?

We want the user to be able to click and submit a request as we are only using one incident template (default).

2. If the above can be done, how can we remove the request and solution tabs next to home?  Redundant and users aren't seeing so we want one page with the 3 options, submit a request, see the service catalog and see solutions.
