History Tab - Administrator Setting of what is recorded?

I think it's really annoying that SDP tracks EVERYTHING in the History tab, I don't really want to see description changes. 90% of our mails to SDP need to be "cleaned up" so the history tab is often pages long because of the changes to the description.
I think it would be better if the SDP administrator could configure what is recorded within the History tab and what is not.
