HIgh CPU (WMI and AV) - Opmanager the Cause?

Hey Chaps,

Checking out our CPU alerts is leading me to believe that OpManager is potentially the cause.

I see WMIPRVSE is sitting at 20% CPU and McAfee at between 20 and 40% (McAfee is scanning the WMI service 98% of its CPU time)

So that's about 50% CPU gone already, this is on 6 or 7 win 2008r2 servers.

After doing WMI logging I can see constant requests coming from our monitoring server, i thought i could unmanage a server to prove the theory, but i still see WMI calls coming from the monitoring server? Surely if its not managed it has no need to do this??

Is there something i'm missing?
