High CPU usage - close to 100%

High CPU usage - close to 100%

I have noticed that Desktop Central uses a large amount of the processor on my server. It is an older machine without a lot of memory but runs other Java programs fine with just occasional spikes in Cpu usage.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way of setting a maximum % of CPU to stop it affecting other processes?
