We have about 5 new devices that OpManager can't back up. After I add one of these devices, I take the following steps:
Add to NCM
On the Apply Credentials page, it's set to use SSH and use our standard AD (Active Direcotry) credentials like all other devices.
I check "Backup the device immediately after updating the credentials.", then Save and Test.
Everything fails:
Port 22
Login prompt
Login name
Password prompt
Password
Prompt
The kicker is we also back these up with Solarwinds and every one of these devices is backed up with Solarwinds with no problems. I also confirmed we do allow the OpManager server through on these devices (we use an ACL to only allow certain subnets through).
Where should I start troubleshooting this problem? To me, it's a setting in OpMgr since Solarwinds can back them up.
