Having issue with IP/name change

I am experiencing an issue with a monitored system after changing the DNS name. The system in question was named sys1.domain.com. I changed the name to sys2.domain.com and moved sys1.domain.com to another server (different IP address). The reason for the move is we moved a web app which has a digital certificate to another system and needed to keep the fqdn the same so as not to break the digital certificate.

In Opmanager the name change did not take place. When I go to view the device it is still referencing the original fqdn name eventhough all DNS entries have been modified. The display name is showing up properly but when I click on a monitor, the title bar shows the original fqdn instead of the updated display name. This is affecting monitoring since Opmanager is polling the wrong device and stating that services are offline even though they are online. This is due to Opmanager polling the wrong device.

How do I go about fixing this? I thought by changing the display name and IP this would be corrected but it looks like there is a hidden field that keeps the original fqdn.
