Have a cisco 2811 and cat2980G-A and cannot get info
I have configured my cisco 2811 twice and cat2980G-A twice as well...what am I doing wrong ?
On the 2811 I believe the SNMP config is very simple..
snmp-server community public RO
thats it .... Opmanager will poll on port 161. Even when using the MIB browser it cannot get the info...the error I am getting is :
Request failed or timed out. Error: Request Timed Out to 172.28.2.3

Exception:Reading/Parsing MIB:java.io.FileNotFoundException: Could not open file C:/Program
I raised the time out level and still got an error.....I have had the same issue with the catalyst switch. I have a 4000 router working just fine. The command set is duplicate to the 2811...
HELP PLEASE...I have not bought the product but will not do so until I can get my networking equipment working properly.
