Our Opman stopped sending mail alerts a week ago.

We have a SMS alternative monitor running on a separate server watching Opman Server & Process  and MailFlow path - There was no issue at the time (or since) with any of the dependant systems..  Namely .....

 

Opman itself

Server on which OpMan runs

Switches

MailServer

Intenet

 

everything on the mailflow path was and is working fine - OpMan just stopped processing mails. As everything on the Mailflow Path was fine,  the 2nd SMS monitoring system did not need to send an SMS.

 

When we restarted OpMan - everything started working again .

 

My question is this :

 

1. Has anyone seen this before?

2. Any suggestions on how to monitor the OpMan mail processor?
