Google fixes several high-severity security vulnerabilities in Chrome 96.0.4664.110 stable channel update

Hello everyone,

 

Chrome stable channel has been updated to 96.0.4664.110 for Windows, macOS, and Linux. This update comes with fixes for 5 security vulnerabilities of which CVE-2021-4102 is exploited in the wild. The details of the vulnerabilities fixed are as follows:

 CVE-2021-4099 Use after free in Swiftshader High
 CVE-2021-4100 Object lifecycle issue in ANGLE High
 CVE-2021-4101 Heap buffer overflow in Swiftshader High
 CVE-2021-4102 Use after free in V8 High

To install this update on your Windows machines, initiate a sync between the Central Patch Repository and the Vulnerability Manager Plus server. Once the sync is complete, search for the following Patch IDs or Bulletin ID and deploy them to your target systems.
