Fresh data collection - Report Generation

Hello Sir,

We are currently Manage Engine – Application Manager 9.

We are facing some difficulties in generating report. When we configure the down time report for a specific period of time, say last week, we are getting the report collected from the last year in addition.

To be precise, we want to delete the data collection done before 31 JAN, and we need to generate reports based on the fresh data collection starting from Feb 1. Please let us know if this is possible.

Also, If possible please let us know how the reports are generated. ie how the collected data is transfered to numbers on the report. The algorithm used for report generation will be help ful for us to understand in a better way.
