I couldn't seem to add to the last post so I've added this one just to explain gfor you how I managed to achieve it.
I just added the CPQIDA-MIB file into the /mibs folder on both the central server and probe, edited the /conf/mibtobeloaded.conf file to specify the mibs to be loaded on startup. I found I also needed to add cpqhost-mib file as the ida file said it relied on it.
(I got the mib files from assure24 website) http://www.assure24.com/databases/snmp-mib/private/Compaq/
Then I added from the central server a custom monitor, chose to load mib, and selected the cpqida-mib file then drilled down into the mib file to select the "cpqDaPhyDrvStatus" which it let me do, when I clicked on ok, the custom monitor then showed it's oid number as .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6 for that variable.
I've attached some more screen shots for you showing the custom monitor settings, as well as the working monitor view etc.
