FIX: Memory Leak on Windows 2008 (non-R2) in LSASS.EXE

FIX: Memory Leak on Windows 2008 (non-R2) in LSASS.EXE

I wanted to share this on the forums here in case someone looks for it.

If you use a lot of WMI scripting/monitoring and are using NTLM for authentication Win2k8 through service pack 2 has a memory leak in lsass.exe and will consume the server memory after a while. This MS hotfix fixed it for us and lsass' memory usage is no longer constantly growing. (It looks like this hotfix will also be a part of SP3 whenever it is released.)

If you're finding java.exe is still growing out of control contact support, they have a patch that works great for it!
