Firewall Analyzer Instability

Firewall Analyzer Instability

Hello,
I have Firewall Analyzer recieving logs logs from a pair of Pix 525 Firewalls. The software seems to be receiving data and generating reports but frequently the application just crashes and is no longer accessable until the services restart. Now, this has happened again and we restarted the services and we are missing all the reports.

Another problem we are having is that while using the application, after a while in certain sections we just start getting script errors all of a sudden. This especially happens whe creating identifiers for a 10 or more unknown ports and submitting them all with the submit button. The ports then do not show up again and they are not in the indentifiers database either. So what happens to them? We then have to restart the service and work from there.

We are using this product as a tool to help with a project but to build filters ACL's for over 80 differant hospitals and it is quickly becoming usless because it just will not stay up. It is starting to get really frustrating. I have already had several calls to you guys and have worked around several bugs in the application. This application needs to be fixed ASAP. Right now, it is just not stable or very granular. The way these unknown protocals are handled is horrible. Instead of making the user create an identifier that just shows the port/udp the application should automatically create that when it receives that traffic and it does not already have that object in it's database. The Unknown catagory is fine, but lumping all unidentied traffic into unassigned and not providing the port numbers for that unidentified traffic is no good. Please correct this ASAP.

We are using this on Unbuntu Linux
