I am looking to open up our SD+ helpdesk system to external users so that they can access the helpdesk remotely. I currently have both AD Authentication and Pass-Through checked and this works perfectly fine within the LAN for all users.
However, I've added an external URL for users (Admin > Self-Service Portal Settings > Alias URL) and have allocated the address http://helpdesk.domain.com:90. Upon testing this internally I'm asked for my username and password so I enter: domain\username and the password but the screen appears to be locked into some kind of authentication loop and doesn't appear to want to log me in.
Any ideas how to fix this issue?
On a similar matter, we use a SBS 2003 Premium box with ISA 2004 installed on it. I've opened internal sites before using this tool (publishing the site) and updating the external DNS so that we can access these sites correctly but this requires me to update IIS and since SD+ uses Apache I'm not sure how I go about allowing external access thru the ISA box and I'd appreciate some advice on how to accomplish this.
