Feed Custom Data for Computer in Desktop Central

Hi there,

I have successfully imported a csv file with custom information for our computers into desktop central.

However the only issue I'm having is that there are fields I want to change that I don't seem to be able to do. For example - the Primary Owner field. I want to set this to which branch, department, or job-site the computer is associated to.  How would I go about doing that?

Also - I primarily started looking into this only because Desktop Central can't seem truncate the product number for HP systems. We are primarily an HP shop (use only HP products except for the cisco servers and switches we have in place).  It should be a simple patch to have it identify if it is a HP Product, look for the product number, and truncate before the ' # ' symbol. If I enter the information manually or even through the CSV, it finds the proper warranty information immediately, otherwise it just assumes that the date it was first scanned, is also the date that the system was purchased and warranty has expired. Please issue a patch for this item asap. I have to go through approximately 1000 systems in order to correct this. It would be different if we only had a few computers.
