Feature Request - Monitor Dependancies -- or condition sets
Problem: When one of our mainframes is IPL'd, it triggers over a dozen monitor alert notifications. Several URL monitors (7 web servers directly impacted), etc
The true problem is that the DB2 application is unavailable on the mainframe, while it is being IPL'd.
I would like somehow to suspend a collection of notifications IF, the DB2 application is unavailable on the mainframe.
Is there a method you have in mind for achieving this?
Our mainframe is IPL'd on a schedule, which I have placed all these monitors into scheduled maintenance in opmanager *however* they also have to IPL at times, on an unscheduled basis. I would like to stop the spam of alert notifications in those incidences. - thank you
