Feature Request for customer notifications for new requests
Hi,
I have actually two feature requests regarding notifications for new requests that I believe would improve this software for everybody.
Most people will turn off the default notifications for new requests that are received, because of course we don't want to respond to spam and potentially generate spam ourselves with Support Centre.
So I have two suggestions which I believe will combat the problem and would love to hear feedback from Adventnet and other customers, as I believe this is great software and just needs some niggles like this one sorted out.
1) Enable whitelist for notifications when request is received. So, a notification is not sent unless the contact is already in the system OR the contact is approved.
2) Enable notification feature when request is assigned. This way, if option (1) is not used, then at least the customer can get their request ID reference without waiting potentially hours/days for the engineer to update their request - instead they get their ID faster as the request only has to be assigned, not updated.
Surely these features are invaluable for a public internet facing support software?
I have mentioned suggestion (2) before but haven't seen much response.
