Feature request: User checks (AD vs. SD+)
We have a couple of requests for improvements, however, some of these will require some changes internally. One of the improvement requests I'll make here, and one I'll make in a separate email, as I think they're substantially different in nature, but have a AD vs. SD+ commonality.
We'd like the ability to show an indicator for users who are no longer in active directory, but for whom an entry still shows up in SD+ so that we can remove the requester entry, and overall just clean up the requester list.
This would likely be a separate screen with three lists side by side, with an arrow between them (like you do for adding people to a queue),
List 1 a list of accounts on one side that exist in AD but not in SD+. This is where an compared import list from AD would go. (For legitimate updates, such as phone number, location, etc. then allow that option to be switched on for those types of operations)
List 2 would show a list of accounts in SD but not in AD. We're trying to weed out old accounts or spam related requester info.
List 3 would be a (to be populated) list of requesters that we don't want in SD+ - essentially a last change dumping ground to view the names we're weeding out before we delete them.
The only "return arrow" would be between the last two lists, when you accidentally moved a name from SD+ into the dumping pile and want to get it back.
We're just finding our requester info being polluted from spam based email, as well as seeing no means by which we can weed out people who are no longer here, but made it in as a result of prior AD scans.
