Currently If a notification profile includes the "clear" notification, that profile subscribes to "all clear" notifications.   I would like, this to be changed, to only subscribe to clear notifications, for conditions the profile is subscribed to in the first place.

 

For instance for our SQL DBA's I do not notify them for problems with any interface, but they receive the clear notifcations for interfaces, which just results in us getting questions for issues which really they don't want to be bothered with.

 

I think changing clear notifications based on subscription to problem events is an overdue refinement for opmanager.
