Feature: Delay Backup after Syslog Message
Hi,
it would be great if you could somehow code the ability to define a delay for the backup of a device after change notification into DE.
Example:
You configure something in CLI, finish it and then return to privileged mode. The moment you leave the config mode the device sends the syslog message to the DE Server which results in an immediate backup of the device.
Problem is that we issue a "copy run start" or "wr" more or less the same time and have concurrent access to the flash file system resulting in a failed backup. The cisco devices simply says "flash in use".
Solution:
If you could at a static value for delay eg. 0 - 60 seconds you will probably have a valid workaround for this situation.
