Failing Backups - Memory/CPU issue?
Frequently our scheduled backups fail or the navigation inside DE is slow or freezes. That happens mostly while the machine polls/backups configuration.
I assume this could be a resource issue. Our copy of DE runs inside a virtual machine on an VMware ESX server and currently has a single CPU and 1024 MiB assigned. The parallel Job count is currently set to 20.
Do you advice to add more RAM to the machine or maybe even another CPU? The load on my machine looks OK so far and the system yet has not used any of the swap space.
