I’m having some trouble using my core i5 laptop with the ManageEngine OpManager product and would appreciate any guidance.
Details:
- Laptop Specs: Intel Core i5 laptop, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD.
- ManageEngine Product: ManageEngine OpManager (Version 12.3)
The Issues:
- Performance Lag: The laptop becomes noticeably slow when running OpManager, particularly during network monitoring and reporting tasks.
- High Resource Usage: CPU and memory usage spikes when OpManager is active, causing system performance issues.
- Connectivity Issues: I’m encountering intermittent connectivity problems between OpManager and the devices it monitors.
Steps Taken:
- Ensured that all drivers and software are up to date.
- Checked that the laptop meets the system requirements for OpManager.
- Attempted to optimize performance settings within OpManager but saw minimal improvement.
Has anyone else had similar experiences with ManageEngine OpManager on a core i5 laptop? Any suggestions for improving performance and resolving connectivity issues would be greatly appreciated.
