External Script Monitors

External Script Monitors

Hi,

A few months ago we purchased OpManager 6 - and it has been running smoothly ever since. I only have one more thing that I would like to monitor:

I have writting a WSH script that gets the value of a specific property on a Citrix server. This script returns 1 or 0 depending on the property value.

What I would like to do is to be able to have OpManager use this script to monitor the Citrix setting in question and alert me whenever this value changes to 0. Since OpManager does not come with support for Citrix built-in - I figure this easily could be done using an external script which makes the dirty work.

I have tried to use the information in http://forums.manageengine.com/forumHome.do?forumGroupId=49000000002007&forumTopicId=49000002634985 to solve this problem - but OpManager keeps reporting that the monitor doesn't respond.

Is this at all possible? And if not - I will strongly recommend this for the wish list for an upcomming update. It will make OpManager way more powerful than it is today.
