Expired Trial Edition Causing Crashes?

Expired Trial Edition Causing Crashes?

I installed the full edition of Password Manager Pro (PMP) some time ago, and it has since expired. During our usage the application has crashed at least once every few weeks or so. We will attempt to access the webpage and it won't load, and upon checking the server I find that the service itself has stopped. The logs show a number of failed attempts to start a JVM, and then:

  1. FATAL  | wrapper  | 2011/06/09 05:45:19 | There were 5 failed launches in a row, each lasting less than 300 seconds.  Giving up.

followed by a stacktrace that I can't begin to understand. It then says "System halted" and PMP is down until I manually start the service again.

A search in this forum on the word "wrapper" showed that another user had had a similar problem and one of the first suggestions was to check the license file. My license file says, under Days to Expire: "Trial Period expired. restart the server to revert as Free Edition."

Could this be the reason for my service issues? I have restarted the service itself several times due to it being unavailable, and this message stays the same. Do I actually need to restart my physical server for this to work? Once it's started it works fine, but I want to fix this licensing if it is indeed the cause of the random service halts.

Thanks in advance.
