Experiencing slow performance with remote control

Hi,

So this issue has been ongoing pretty much since we started using EndpointCentral years back. I was wondering if anyone else has experience similar issues?

We used to have a lot of disconnections or not being able to connect, that seems to have gotten better and does not happen that often anymore. Support has been trying to investigate but have not really found any real cause or solution for this.

At this point, we are basically just accepting that it is how it is.

We have previously used Teamviewer, and have now downgraded to the non managed version, so our support agents can connect to devices using teamviewer ID and password as a backup when EndpointCentral remote control does not work.

However, they seem to be using Teamviewer as their primary tool as "Endpoint central is so slow and laggy". I am not able to get them to use it, the extra features that EndpointCentral remote has, simply does not make up for the lagginess.
It is a shame, because it seems like a nice tool. If only it was as fluent as other similar tools. We have tested Zoho Assist and selfhosted RustDesk and both work with no issues.

Our EndpointCentral server is running with the following specs:

CPU: 16 vCPU's
Memory: 32GB
Windows Server 2019

We have the 64 bit version and a secure gateway in front.

Traffic is mapped to our desktopcentral domain using nginx reverse proxy, like we do for our other services.
However it seems that the same slowness happens even if the connection is made without nginx.

Issue happens regardless of remote office or local server is used and regardless of the users internet speed.
Obviously slow network speeds could cause slowness, but when it works flawlessly in software like Teamviewer, i would expect EndpointCentral to run just as smooth on the same connection.
