Is is possible to execute a mbean operation at preset intervals.  For example every 5 minutes.

 

The reason for asking is that the mbean that I monitor only details the maximum time.  So if the maximum time occurred 2 days ago then this value will not change until there is either a new larger maximum time or the reset mbean operation is executed.

 

By executing the reset mbean operation at regular intervals allows me to monitor the maximum time at near real time.
