We are glad to announce the release of Exchange Reporter Plus' latest build–5800.

Enhancements  

• Exchange Reporter Plus no longer requires a dedicated service account for its Exchange Online module. All functionalities can now be configured using only an Entra application registration. This eliminates the previous requirement to disable MFA on service accounts, providing smoother and more secure access to tenant resources.

Note: Existing customers updating from build number 5726 and lower can choose to remove their configured service accounts from Exchange Reporter Plus and update their Entra app permissions. Check out how to remove your service account from Exchange Reporter Plus.

• You can now register for security advisory notifications from the Security Hardening section to ensure timely updates about recently released fixes for vulnerabilities.

Issue fixes:

• An issue with collecting audit data in Exchange Online environments (US government-specific)  that caused audit reports to display no results has been fixed.

• An issue in the Exchange Online module's Email Activity By Users report where the data displayed did not align with the selected Period filter has been fixed.

• An issue where the OWA Logon by Users report in Exchange Online failed with the error message Resource Unavailable has been fixed.

• An issue where the Archive Mailbox report in Exchange Online failed with the error message ManagementObjectAmbiguous has been fixed.

• An issue in the Exchange Online  Calendar Folder Permissions report which displays the ObjectID of the mailboxes in the Identity column has been fixed.

• A data collection issue in reports under the General Mailbox Reports category in Exchange Online that caused them to fail when collecting data on hybrid tenants has been fixed.

• An issue that occurred in all Exchange Online reports where the GUID of hybrid users were displayed instead of their display names has been fixed.

• An issue that caused scheduled reports in the Exchange Online module's Report Scheduler to display the Success status in the schedule history even when notifications were not sent has been fixed.

Deprecation:

• The following columns have been removed from their respective reports in Exchange Reporter Plus.

• Forward based on Inbox Rules column from the Mailbox with Forward To report in Exchange Online.

• In Place Holds column from the Soft Deleted Mailboxes report in Exchange Online.
