We want to monitor the evelog log for errors. Within AppManager you'll have the option to monitor specific events. For this you'll have to enable eventlog monitoring of the server. The downside of this feature is that the alarm will stay on the alarm page until the next poll. In case you poll the server every minute you'll only see the alarm for 1 minute.

Another way to monitor the eventlog is by using the logfile monitor and look at the file instead of making it part of the server monitor. This also has the same downside, the alarm will disappear at the next poll. Still this option is some better because you can set the interval at another timing then the server polling. So setting the poll time to lets say 30 minutes, the alarm will stay on the page for 30 minutes.

I'm aware of the option to add an action to the alert like an email. Emails of different alarms is what we want to get rid of. So that's not really an option.

I'm hoping that there is a better way for me to monitor the eventlog. It would be ideally that the alarm will stay on the page until the message is acknowledged. Could someone please help me out on this one?
