Event Monitoring missing most events!

Hi There,

I have had op manager running for about a month now, monitoring six servers. So far i really like the product, but i'm getting really inconsistant results monitoring the windows event logs.

Essentially opmanager just seems to MISS a lot of the errors or warnings in the application log and system logs on the servers it's monitoring. I have gone over the configuration, in case i had made a rookie mistake, but everything is set up correctly.

In my specific case, i have it configured to watch for ASP.NET errors. i get a few of them every hour. OpManager spots some of them, but not others. They are all the exact same warning in the application log, so it's not like it's catching some of a particular kind, and none of the others. It's literally just 'missing' half of them!

I tried turning the polling time for the event log checking down to 1 minute, but that didn't seem to help.

Anyone else had this problem and been able to solve it? All suggestions would be welcome!!
