event monitoring, by group?

is it possible to monitor events by group? Similar to the way event log analyzer can't, or a screen that will list all event's for a given group that I can drill down into?

Or is there a way to incorporate event log analyzer within application manager or at least some similar functions?

OpManager doesn't give me the view of my applications I would like so it's not an option at this point, ELA is pretty close o what I need in a central logging application, an app manager is pretty on the money as far as application/server management.

it would be nice to see at lest some features of these two merged together, the event monitoring features in app manger leave much to be desired or maybe i'm not setting it up properly.
