Error with Mysql DB

while I try to configure simple select query I get :
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'OPTION SQL_SELECT_LIMIT=50' at line 1" for the query "SELECT *FROM RT_agents_status ".
what could be the reason ?
