I am new to ManageEngine, but will be using it A LOT in my new role.

 

I have been asked to delete a folder which is located in C:\Users\%username%\ (Windows 7)  on all machines for all users in the domain.

 

To my knowledge this requires using the File Folder Operation utility under Configurations in ME_Desktop.

 

I have set up the config both as 'User' and 'Computer' but the deletion is failing for two reasons:

 

1. Remarks =  'The directory is not empty' - this is happening when I actually specify the username e.g C:\Users\joe.bloggs\foldername 

 

2. putting in %username% so that it runs for all users on the domain does not work either.

 

Highly frustrating, any help would be greatly appreciated on this.
