Error creating Lync-enabled user. Are there logs I can look in?
Running ADM+ 6220. When creating a new user that is to be Lync-enabled, the creation process comes back with ""Error while enabling Lync services for the user." I have checked the troubleshooting tips, where it discusses missing/duplicate values, or values with special characters. I do not see anything related to these tips with the user information I am entering.
I have tried a few different formats of the user information, including entering the telephone number and leaving it blank. The only "special character" that is in all user names is a period (firstName.lastName). I am using the default "SIP format" for the SIP name.
Are there log files on the server that log such information? I have grepped the ManageEngine\ADManager Plus\logs directory for the user names I was creating, and don't see the names listed.
If this information is not logged, what other things should I look for to try and resolve this error?
