Erroneous APIPA warning

Erroneous APIPA warning

For a while now, I have been seeing a warning on the Home screen of my Desktop Central interface. It doesn't seem to break any functionality but it does get tiresome seeing it every single day. Our server runs on an a static IP and it hasn't changed in years. I have verified this. There are also no other network connections besides the LAN adapter. I did submit a ticket for it and the technician's answer was that we have a loopback address on the server and that needs to be removed. Well, I am fairly sure you can't remove the loopback (127.0.0.1) from a network interface, nor would you want to disable it.

One thing I am going to experiment with is disabling ISATAP, Toredo, RAS Async adapters, and WAN Miniport adapters one at a time. There are not hidden adapters in Network Connections so I'm lost there.

Anyone else dealt with this or have a fix? The APIPA link in the message is useless. Running a IPCONFIG /release and a /renew isn't going to help when you're on a static IP.
