EOL Announcement for ServiceDesk Plus & AssetExplorer 32bit installations.

Dear Users,

 

This announcement is to inform you that, from August 2022 we will withdraw the support for the 32bit installation of ServiceDesk Plus and AssetExplorer (both Linux and Windows servers). This is in line with several application dependencies, such as PostgreSQL and JRE, removing support for 32-bit versions. You can check your application's architecture under Community > Health Meter > Application Architecture.

 

If your ServiceDesk Plus or AssetExplorer is 32bit, we recommend you migrate the application to 64bit at the earliest.

 

How to migrate ServiceDesk Plus to 64-bit installation from 32 bit installation

 

The builds and PPMs (Service packs) that would get released in Q3 2022 will be compatible only with 64bit installation i.e applications with 32bit installation cannot get directly upgraded to the latest version, you need to migrate to 64bit before upgrading the application. We will keep informed about the exact date and the build number.
