In ManageEngine ServiceDesk, is there a configuration or policy that allows us to disable or hide records (such as requests, assets, users, etc.) instead of permanently deleting them?
Our goal is to implement a strict “no-deletion” policy similar to SAP, where records cannot be removed from the system but can only be deactivated, archived, or made inactive for operational use. We want to ensure full data traceability and audit continuity, while preventing permanent data loss.
Is this possible through built-in settings, role-based permissions, or custom configurations?
