"Enforce password policy during resource or password creation"
I'm posting this for the benefit of others. It's something I just learned from PMP Tech Support, which is completely undocumented and not obvious.
"When you add a resource in to PMP, by default the resource level policy will be applied to the accounts added below it. Unless you change the policy at the account level, the account policy will remain the same as that of the resource.
"An account level policy can be applied either during the account creation or after the account creation. If the option 'Enforce password policy during resource or password creation' is enabled, then account level policy can not be applied during the account creation and can be done only after the account is added."
In other words, if you have enabled "Enforce Password Policy During Resource or Password Creation," then the Password Policy drop-down will be available on the Account Creation screen, but it will have no effect.
